Welcome to Term 4! Both our Castle Hill and Kellyville campuses are alive with energy as we continue the final chapter of this school year. Term 3 closed on the Kellyville Campus with joy and gratitude as our Year 12 students celebrated their Valedictory Dinner, Graduation, and an Activity Day featuring go-karting and paintball; a memorable finish to their Senior School journey.
Our Year 11 students embraced Service Week with hearts ready to serve. Some travelled to the Solomon Islands for a mission trip, while others poured their energy into local projects with ADRA, aged care facilities, and Junior School chapels. These experiences reminded us of the call in Micah 6:8: “To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” What a beautiful example of living out faith through action!
As we move forward, HSC exams are underway, and we hold our Year 12 students in our thoughts and prayers during this significant milestone. For all other year levels, Term 4 is a time to finish strong: embracing opportunities for growth, showing integrity, and striving for excellence in all things. Let us encourage one another and keep building a community that reflects Christ’s love and purpose.

During the recent school holidays and the first week of Term 4, a group of 31 Year 11 students, eight staff, and members from Kellyville Church travelled to Honiara in the Solomon Islands for a life-changing mission trip. Together, we partnered with Betikama Adventist College to build a 600-square-metre shed—an ambitious project that quickly became so much more than just a building.
Over 10 days, students worked tirelessly under the island sun, learning practical skills and discovering the joy of serving others. What was especially inspiring was seeing them step out of their comfort zones—many for the first time—picking up tools, collaborating as a team, and persevering through challenges with determination and faith. The physical progress on the shed mirrored the spiritual growth happening within the group.
Evenings were filled with worship, reflection, and moments of heartfelt connection. Students and staff shared how God was moving, and they were challenged about how they could live life differently in light of their experiences.
What began as a construction project became an experience of transformation. The students didn’t just build a shed—they built friendships, character, and a stronger sense of calling. When the group returned home, they even helped lead Chapel, sharing stories, testimonies, and lessons learned from their time in Honiara. As we began Term 4, we carried with us the powerful reminder that when we give our time and energy to serve others, God does His greatest work in us.
This trip truly was inspiring, stretching, and unforgettable.

If you haven’t already, please submit enrolment applications for siblings starting school in 2026 as soon as possible. Applications submitted after March 2025 may result in your child being placed on a waitlist.
As a general reminder, we encourage all families to submit enrolment applications as early as possible to assist with planning and to secure a place.

Planning for staffing and resource allocation is now in progress as we prepare for the 2026 school year.
We would like to remind families that, in line with the College’s Enrolment Policy, a minimum of one full term’s notice is required for any student withdrawal. If your child will not be returning to Hills Adventist College in 2026, please complete the
Notice of Withdrawal
form (linked below) and submit it to the College Registrar.
No action is required if your child is:
- continuing enrolment in 2026,
- already confirmed as leaving, or
- completing Year 12 in 2025.

We offer weekly 30-minute private lessons during school hours in Violin, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Drums, Saxophone, Clarinet, Voice.
Students are expected to practise regularly, and fees are paid directly to the tutor.

School Bus Applications

Dear 2026 Families,
Applications for the 2026 Hills Adventist College Private Bus Service are now open. Families requiring the College bus should complete the online application by 7 November 2025.
Our buses provide safe, convenient transport from nearby suburbs, with routes set annually based on demand. Current routes include:
- The Ponds: Beaumont Hills, Quakers Hill, Stanhope Gardens
- Cherrybrook: Glenhaven, Cherrybrook, Castle Hill, Round Corner
- Seven Hills: Glenwood, Bella Vista, Baulkham Hills
- Kellyville: North Kellyville
- Box Hill: The Gables
A shuttle service operates between the Kellyville and Castle Hill Campuses (7:45 am Castle Hill → Kellyville; 8:05 am Kellyville → Castle Hill).
Families may also request Metro pick-up/drop-off at Kellyville or Hills Showground stations via the application form.
Bus stops and times will be finalised before Term 1, 2026. Please arrive 5 minutes early at your designated stop.
All families — including current bus users — must submit a new application for 2026.

Welcome back to Term 4! We hope everyone had a restful break and is ready for an exciting final term of the year. Our wonderful team — Rakhshan, Chelsea, and Evano — are thrilled to welcome both new and returning children to Extend After School Care.
This term, we’ve planned a mix of arts and crafts, STEM challenges, outdoor games, and themed activities to keep children engaged, creative, and connected. We value children’s ideas and love including their suggestions in our program.
We’re looking forward to a fun and memorable Term 4 filled with laughter, learning, and new adventures!

A few weeks ago, the Home & School Committee hosted a Cyber Safety Seminar presented by Officer Glenn Clarke from Castle Hill Police Station. Parents from both campuses attended the session and engaged in valuable discussions around the challenging and increasingly important topic of online safety.
Officer Clarke shared practical advice on how to keep children safe online, offering tips on managing screen time, understanding social media platforms, and recognising online threats such as cyberbullying and inappropriate content.
